Who is Arnab Goswami?
Arnab Goswami is an Indian journalist and television news anchor. He is the managing director of the news channel Republic TV, in which he collaborated with Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
From 2006 to 2016, Goswami was editor-in-chief and a news anchor of the Indian news channels Times Now and ET Now. On Times Now, he revealed The Newshour, a live debate. He also hosted a special television program. On 1 November 2016, Goswami resigned as Editor-in-Chief of Times Now. Their news channel Republic TV was launched on 6 May 2017.

Goswami was born on 7 March 1973 in Guwahati, Assam to an Assamese family.
His maternal grandfather Rajni Kanta Goswami was a lawyer. His maternal grandfather, Gaurishankar Bhattacharya, was an elected MLA of the Communist Party of India and served as the Leader of the Opposition in Assam for many years. Goswami's father Manoranjan Goswami served in the army before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, he lost to Congress candidate Bhubaneswar Kalita in the 1998 Lok Sabha elections for Guwahati constituency. Goswami's mother Suprabha Gain-Goswami is a writer.
Goswami's maternal uncle, Siddharth Bhattacharya is a BJP MLA from Gauhati East constituency, before heading Sarbananda Sonowal in 2015, he was the head of the party's Assam unit.

Arnab Goswami started his career at The Telegraph in Kolkata before joining NDTV in 1995. He later shifted his career to TV news broadcast with NDTV 24 × 7 in 1995, where he ignored dailies and reporting for News Tonight for a program broadcast on DD Metro. Later as news editor, he was part of NDTV's team during the transition from program producer to 24-hour mode in 1998. He hosted the Newshour Show every week night. Newshour was the longest running news analysis shown on any channel (1998–2003). As a Senior Editor with NDTV 24 × 7, he was responsible for the entire editorial content of the channel.
