Sahil Salathia was born on 13 April 1988 in a Rajput family in Jammu city of India. His early education was completed from APJ School at Sheikh Sarai, Delhi and he did engineering from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is a software engineer. After choosing to model and acting as her career, she received training from Barry John Acting School.
Career
Salathia started her career as a model in 2012. He represented India in the Mr. Asia competition held in Hong Kong and made it to the finals in the top 5 contestants out of a total of 32 delegates from various countries. Salathia carries out modeling and promotional campaigns for various popular brands such as Idea Cellular, Big Bazaar, Mercedes Benz, Kingfisher and many more.
As an actor, Sahil played the lead role in the 2014 Everest directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. He won the Lion Gold Awards for Best Fresh Face for his first series. In 2016, he portrayed Yusuf in P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke, a television series based on prisoners of war.
